East Ringwood Football Club has a proud history of almost 90 years. The club was formed in 1929 and played in the Ringwood District Football Association until WWII. After the war it played in the Croydon FL and later was founding member of the Eastern Football League. Fun fact: The original football ground was located where in nowadays you'd find Maroondah Hospital. East Ringwood Club has experienced great success over that time.

Nowdays the junior club is one of the strongest in the suburbs, the introduction of the women's team was well overdue but now a thriving part of the club and from the development squad through to the men's senior team the club continues to thrive for success in all areas.
